I've been invited to my officemate's engagement party two weeks from now. She's getting married later this year and it's a tradition in their culture to throw an engagement party for the future couple. I heard that this engagement party is still different from the bridal shower/stag party. And although gifts are optional, most of my officemates will be bringing in something for the newly engaged couple. Well, I've decided to bring a gift myself but I don't have any idea what kind of gifts are given on engagement parties. Hope you could help me on this.
