AWS Certified Security – Specialty
As more organizations migrate to AWS cloud, cloud security specialists are becoming more essential. AWS’s cloud certifications are widely recognized and highly respected. However, their lone security credential has seen rapid development.
This cloud security credential is the third-most sought-after cybersecurity certificate in 2019. It also has the second highest income (minimum 30 North American respondents).
The certification exam validates your ability and capability to secure AWS cloud. Two years of experience with AWS features is required to be certified.

CompTIA’s vendor-neutral certification is the second most popular cybersecurity certificate. Sixty-seven percent of North American security professionals have their Security+ certification. It is a certification that shows competence in a wide variety of foundational security topics, such as data, host, network, and physical security, as well as operational security.
Security+ is part of the plans for 4 per cent of North American IT professionals. Security+ is the minimum level of certification that should always be considered for positions above entry-level.
