graduation

One of my nieces is graduating from high school next month. It has been customary in our family to celebrate special occasions like graduations and give gifts to the celebrate, in this case, the graduate. Since she is my first niece to graduate from high school, I have no idea what ideal gift to give her. My niece is a well-rounded person. She's loves school, and yet she's also an outgoing and fun-loving person.

My brother is finally graduating from med school and I'm planning to get him a graduation present. I'm sure my brother would like something that is associated with his future profession (doctor) but I can't decide on a gift at this point. Hope you can help make the right choice.
